The scales are used in modern maille armor fabrication and costuming -and now in jewelry design. The anodized aluminum is much, much lighter than the iron or steel scales of ancient armor. These are ultra lightweight and are some of my top sellers. Gold and silver anodized aluminum scales are paired with antique silver beads and hung on sterling silver ear wires. Overall length is 1-1/2 inches. Gold is shown in the individual set but accent colors are available in gold, as well as silver, red, pink, blue, green, copper, or purple. Please specify the color you would like as the accent or gold will be sent.
